All to the Côte-d'Or Youth Games!

After the success of the first Côte-d'Or village in April in Is-sur-Tille, the Côte-d'Or Youth Games will take place on June 3 in Chevigny-Saint-Sauveur.

Labeled "Land of Games", the Côte-d'Or is now preparing for the Olympic Games in Paris 2024, by organizing the Côte-d'Or Youth Games on Saturday, June 3, 2023. On that day, young athletes from all over the Côte-d'Or will invest Chevigny-Saint-Sauveur, where the Olympic spirit will blow for a day.

At the initiative of the Departmental Council, in collaboration with the Côte-d'Or Departmental Olympic and Sports Committee, this day will allow you to discover the different Olympic sports and will make you vibrate to the rhythm of the sports competitions. This day is free of charge and the animations are free of charge.

Meeting with David Douillet

At 10:30 am, will be present David Douillet double Olympic champion, quadruple world champion and European champion, on the stand of initiation to Judo held by the departmental committee.

The opening ceremony of the Games

At 11:30 a.m., come and attend the opening ceremony of the Games! The athletes of the #TEAMCOTEDOR will parade surrounded by youth departmental advisors and members of the sports committees of Côte-d'Or.

4 simultaneous competitions in the city

Four competitions will take place in the four corners of Chevigny-Saint-Sauveur: karate, wrestling, soccer, handball. Come and encourage your teams during :

  • The final of the Côte-d'Or Handball Cup
    The competition will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the COSEC gym. Five categories (U11, 13, 15, 18 and senior) will compete.
  • Women's soccer tournaments
    The competition will take place from 9:30 am to 6 pm on the La Saussaie soccer field. Budding female footballers (6 to 13 years old) will try to win the cup! (100 participants)
  • The Alain LE HETET Open - karate competition At the Ogive Karate Dojo, the competition will take place from 9:30 am to 6 pm. Competitors aged from 6 to 14 years old will compete under the eyes of two athletes of the #TEAMCOTEDOR, Clémence PEA and Yanis LAMOTTE.
  • The departmental wrestling games of the Côte d'Or
    The competition will take place from 2:30 to 4:30 pm at the gymnasium des Iris. Four categories (U7, 9, 11, 13) will be competing for these departmental wrestling games.
